Anna Bertalli graduated from RMIT in 1995 with a BA in Photography. Her personality and her passion for shooting beautiful images crosses advertising, portraiture and fashion and has gained her the reputation of being one of Australia's foremost photographers.
The diversity of Anna's work has built a stable of varied clients. They include advertising campaigns for Katherine, Jag, Chifley Plaza, Wonderbra, Sportscraft, Kayser, Clarins, Formfit, Toyota, Johnson and Johnson, Bole Sunglasses, Hush, Done Swimwear, Weight Watchers, David Jones, Playstation, Esprit, L'Oreal and Le Specs, Woolworth's Community Kids Campaign.
Anna's forte with children's photography has seen her shooting for most of Australia's childrens clothing brands.
Anna's subjects have include Hugh Jackman, Geoffrey Rush, Claudia Karvan, Tex Perkins, Rose Byrne, Lizzie Gardener, Vince Colossimo, Delta Goodrem, Sarah O'Hare, Akira Isogawa, Yahoo Serious, Jeff Kennett, Gaye Waterhouse, Tim Draxl and Renee Gayer.
On occasion Anna shoots stills for movies and worked on "I'll Take You There", shot in NY and written and directed by Adrienne Shelly and starring Aly Sheedy (The Breakfast Club and St Elmo's Fire) and Ben Vereen. Anna has also worked on 'The Missing' with Fabrio Bentivoglio, David Ngoonbujarra and Rebecca Firth.
Anna's fashion editorials have been published in Vogue, Oyster, Harpers Bazaar, Cream, Elle, Black and White, Cosmopolitan and Noise.
Moving to Paris in 2004 Anna had the opportunity of documenting a series of images of the Australian members of the Moulin Rouge. She was honoured by having two of these portraits hung in an exhibition of 9 of Australia's best women's photographers for Amnesty International, at the Art Gallery of NSW.
