On the completion of his degree in Fine Art (Photography) from the Victorian College of Arts, Paul Barbera focused his energy of perfecting his art. Leaving Australia for Europe, not long after gaining his degree, he is now an established a highly respected interior and fashion photographer, globally. His passion for travel equals and satisfies his passion for photography and it is this that has taken him to destinations such as Peru, Brazil, Uruguay, New York, Munich, Istanbul, Milan, Warsaw, Belfast and more recently Dubai and the Middle East.

Paul has had the opportunity to live in Amsterdam, Prague, Singapore, Rome, Berlin and has returned to his native city of Melbourne where he is currently based.

Working in natural light and HMI, his subjects are people, and people in spaces. “Often I am very non engaging of people, people are in their space.  I set up and it’s left to unfold in front of me”
